The Bonduel High School wrestling team had a near sweep of Rosholt in a Central Wisconsin Conference meet on the road Thursday. The Shawano Community High School boys swim team got a first-place finish in the final event to defeat Lakeland Union 88-82 Thursday in Shawano. The Hawks led 80-76 heading into the 400-yard freestyle relay.

It has been six months since a 22-year-old Michigan man was found dead of an apparent hit-and-run in Shawano County. Authorities have still not located the vehicle involved, but the case remains open and active, according to the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department. Timothy J. Meade, 22, of Stephenson, Mich., was found at 2:30 a.m.
