Donald Rahn, 86, Suamico, formerly of Shawano Lake, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2026. The son of the late Gust and Erline (Hintz) Rahn and husband of Joyce (Bonnin) Rahn was born Nov. 12, 1939.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m.

Elaine Jane Birr, of Sampson, passed away peacefully Jan. 13, 2026, in the comforting care of HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls. The daughter of John and Laura (Nicholas) Boettcher was born Jan. 12, 1932.

Nancy Kathryn Bursa, 81, of Coleman, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Nancy was born June 24, 1944, in Park Falls,to Robert and Antoinette (Price) Toney, and was raised in Milwaukee.

Austin Newcomb, a kind and gentle man with a deep love for music, family and the outdoors, passed away Dec. 16, 2025, at the age of 92.

John Nischke, 85, of Bonduel, passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, in Shawano.

John was born in Green Bay on Dec. 31, 1940, son of the late Herbert and Alice (Wilson) Nischke. John graduated from Bonduel High School with the class of 1959.
