Jeffrey K. Klingbeil

Jeffrey Karl Klingbeil, 56, of Menasha, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, due to an undiagnosed heart condition. Born Feb. 29, 1964, he was the son of late Karl and Judith (Stevens) Klingbeil, of Tigerton. Jeff was a skilled general and colorectal surgeon with Fox Valley Surgical Associates in Appleton for 23 years. His hard work, compassion, and concern were apparent to the people who were under his care.
Maryann M. Buchkowski
Maryann M. Buchkowski, 70, of Hatley, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at home. She was born July 3, 1950, the daughter of the late Hilton and Genevieve (Atkins) Rusch. She married Larry “Smooch” Buchkowski on Sept. 10, 2002. He survives. Maryann will be remembered for the love she shared with her friends and family. She was an avid seamstress.
Kenneth H. Hardtke
Kenneth Harold Hardtke, 76, of Roberts, died of bladder cancer on June 16, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. Ken was born Jan. 10, 1945, to Harold and Grace Hardtke. He was raised on the family’s dairy farm in Oconto Falls and graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1963. He worked as a carpenter and millwright for many decades.
Stephen Olson
Stephen “Steve” Olson, 67, of Appleton, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, June 21, 2021. Steve was born Aug. 27, 1953, in Oconto Falls to John A. and Kathleen (White) Olson. Steve attended Gillett High School, Class of 1971. He also attended University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He was fun, intelligent and hard working. Steve was a lifelong Wisconsin sports fan. He enjoyed gardening, his cats, birds and traveling.
Dale L. Konkel
Dale L. Konkel, 77, of the Town of Belle Plaine, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning, June 18, 2021, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Appleton. Dale was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Shawano, a son of the late Lesley L. and Beulah Mae (Empereur) Konkel. He attended grade school in Tilleda and graduated from Bowler High School. Following high school, Dale attended Badger Business College in Green Bay.
Glen W. Greve
Glen Willis Greve, 96, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021, at the home of his son Jonathan Greve in Summerville, South Carolina. He was born on June 11, 1924, in Aurora, South Dakota, the fifth child of Paul and Hannah (Strubbe) Greve. He was baptized on June 29, 1924, and confirmed in 1937 in the First English Lutheran Church in Aurora. He graduated from the H.S. Dept. of Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, in 1941.
Paula J. Reed
Paula Jean Reed, 54, died peacefully, after courageously battling cancer for over two years, on June 16, 2021, at her home in Lakewood. She was surrounded by her husband, Rich, her children, Emily, Rachel and Hunter, her grandson, Joey, and her sister, Margaret. Paula was born in Kenosha to Rovella Mary Cosentino.
