Janet Marie Neitzel (Besonen), 70, of Big Rapids, Michigan, passed away July 15, 2021. Jan was supported and cared for by her loving family at her home. Jan was born at home in Trout Creek, Michigan, July 1, 1951. She was a petite, soft-spoken woman with a core of SISU inherited from her Finnish roots.

John W. Syndergaard, 82, of Cecil, formerly of Shawano, passed away on Saturday afternoon, July 10, 2021, in Shawano. John was born Dec. 7, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Edward and Esther Syndergaard. He graduated from Barron High School in 1956, and from Iowa State University in 1960 with a bachelor’s degree in dairy science. John was a very active man about campus.

Jerry J. Saxton, 57, of Neenah, passed away on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at his home. He was born on July 4, 1963, in Madison to the late John and Nancy (Pok) Saxton. Jerry graduated from La Follette High School in Madison.
Donald L. Herms
Donald L. Herms, 87, of Cecil, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Donald was born on July 26, 1933, to the late Melvin and Emma (Giese) Herms in the Town of Green Valley. On June 16, 1956, Don was united in marriage to Doris Schroeder at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gillett. Don was a hardworking and dedicated dairy farmer in the Town of Green Valley. He served on the board of directors for the Green Valley Co-op.
William R. Schwarzbauer
William Roger Schwarzbauer “Bill,” 56, died Wednesday July 7, 2021, at his residence. He was born Aug. 19, 1964, in Neenah, son of the late John and Dolores (Ginke) Schwarzbauer. Bill became the owner and operator of “The Higher Wire” bar in Shawano, a couple years ago, which was a dream that he pursued, and was really proud to have accomplished. Bill was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.

Arthur Michael Schabow, 82, of Gresham, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Art was born on May 15, 1939, to the late Stuart and Hattie (Fischer) Schabow in their home in Gresham. He graduated from Gresham High School and enlisted in the United States Army on Jan. 20, 1958. After his honorable discharge, Art returned home to Gresham where he met the love of his life, Mary Umland. On Oct.
