Robert George Kuula, 48, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at his home. He was born Sept. 26, 1972, to the late Roger and Nancy (Bowman) Kuula in Oak Park, Illinois. He attended Hurley School District. Robert was known for being a people person. He could meet someone for the first time and become friends with them instantly. He was always there to help his family and friends.

Dennis R. Herzog
The world is a bit dimmer with the passing of Dennis Robert Herzog, who left his earthly home on July 28, 2021. Dennis was born in Pound on Dec. 10, 1940, the youngest of nine children to Ewald and Jennie Herzog. A veteran of Vietnam, he returned to marry Durham Hernden on Feb. 6, 1966, and together they built a life and family on their farm in Gillett. Dennis believed in living a life of faith, humility, integrity, hard work, love and laughter.
Daniel C. Janz
Daniel Craig Janz, 79, of Thornton, entered his home in heaven on Friday, July 23, 2021. Dan was born on July 17, 1942, in Portchester, New York, to Mary Logan and F. Everett Janz. He graduated from Portchester High School and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Dan met and married Beatrice Weisener in Chicago and together they moved to Bemiji, Minnesota, to operate their businesses, Hartz Grocery Store and Sunflower Foods.

A memorial service for Richard W. Kuepper and Lynne A. Kuepper will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano. Pastor Marilyn Lange will officiate. Jeffrey M. “Jeff” Riopelle, 55, of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, July 21, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Jeff was born Oct. 21, 1965, at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, a son of the late Wilfred “Bo” and Lois E. (Ellingboe) Riopelle. Jeff attended East High School in Menominee Falls, graduating with the Class of 1983.
