DATCP issues warning about season ticket scammers

Sports fans in Wisconsin have reported their season tickets being stolen by scammers, according to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.

These scammers access a season ticket holder’s account, fraudulently transfer the tickets to another account, and leave the rightful owner with no sign of the theft until they log in to their ticket account to access their tickets and notice they are missing.

ThedaCare commissions painting from Pubanz

Local artist Judy Andrews Pubanz was recently commissioned by ThedaCare to create a painting with a Wolf River theme to be displayed in the registration area at ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano.

Hospital officials had been looking for a piece of artwork to fill a very large space. After discovering Pubanz was an artist who had other works displayed on the ThedaCare campus, they showed Pubanz the area they were looking to fill.
