A Green Bay man died June 25 after his pickup truck left U.S. Highway 141 and ran into a creek.

An Oconto County Sheriff’s Department traffic report identified the victim as Richard John Kennedy, 75.

The report indicates that at about 11:56 a.m., the pickup truck left the roadway south of Highway 141 near Guelig Road in the Town of Stiles, getting stuck in the water.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is seeking public comment on the future management of the Langlade County segment of the Wolf River State Trail.

A master plan establishes the levels and types of resource management and public use permitted on DNR-managed properties. Under the master planning process, DNR staff will develop a property specific master plan for the Wolf River State Trail in Langlade County.

About 3,000 individuals submitted comments in support of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin’s proposed Hard Rock Casino and Hotel project in Kenosha during the recently concluded public comment period on the environmental assessment.
