Shawano’s singles depth fuels 4-3 win over Menasha

Shawano (6-12) defeated Menasha (4-12) by a 4-3 score, taking three of four singles matches.

West De Pere 7, Pulaski 0

The Red Raiders were shut by West De Pere with the best effort coming from Riley Hartman in the fourth-seed singles match. Hartman took her opponent to three sets before losing the third set 10-5.

Shawano soccer pulls out win over Winneconne

The Red Raiders fell to the Golden Raiders 2-1 in Fox River Classic Conference play.

Cooper Jost and Matthew Decker scored for Sheboygan North. Logan Seubert got the lone goal for Pulaski.

Jacoby Knowles made seven saves in goal for North (4-2-2, 1-1). Blake Bazter had four saves in goal for Pulaski (6-2-2, 0-2).

Hawks have best local score in Marinette

Fifteen teams competed at Little River Golf Course in Marinette, with Shawano topping local teams.

The Hawks tallied 412 and placed ninth. Oconto Falls scored 431 for 12th place, and Bonduel had 436 for 13th.

Shawano: Hailey Hawkinson 97, Alyssa Slinger 99, Lauren Seehafer 104 and Mya Coffey 112.

Marion volleyball team shuts down Gresham 3-0

The Tigers visited CWC-North Northland Lutheran and struggled with their serve receive and tip defense. The sets were competitive and close, but Tigerton was defeated in three straight sets with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.

Menominee Nation’s Bryant Waupoose III won the boys race at Bonduel, while Shawano won the team competition.

Pulaski tennis team struggles against Notre Dame

Pulaski’s number one doubles team of Linde Lemerond and Aubrie Schuessler defeated their Notre Dame Academy opponents 6-3, 6-1 for the Red Raiders sole win.
