LoAnne L. Mac Murray

LoAnne L. Mac Murray, 88, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Appleton. LoAnne was born Nov. 15, 1931, in Plymouth, a daughter of the late Edmund and Dorothy (Hein) Laack. She attended school in Sevastopol and Shawano, graduating from Shawano High School with the Class of 1950. Following school, LoAnne was employed as an operator at the Urban Telephone Company in Shawano.
Lynne A. Kuepper
Lynne A. Kuepper, 85, of Shawano, passed away peacefully to walk joyfully with God on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Filled with the love and power of music all her life, she’d play from memory any song requested without hesitation — even far into her battle with Alzheimer’s. She shared her gifts and played the piano until God called her home to accompany the heavenly choir. Lynne was born Aug.
Roger E. Schilling Sr.
Roger E. Schilling Sr., 78, of the Town of Belle Plaine, passed away Sept. 9, 2020, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Roger Evan Schilling was born Sept. 12, 1941, in Shawano, son to the late Evan and Inez (Nordwig) Schilling. He grew up on the family farm in Pella. After school, Roger served his country in the U.S.
Barbara Host Marlier
Barbara Host Marlier, 76, went in quiet peace to her God, her blessed virgin Mary, her many relatives, friends and other saints Monday, Sept. 7, 2020. In her last days, she was surrounded by her husband, her children and grandchildren while at Appleton ThedaCare Regional Medical Center and in hospice care at the same facility. She was born Barbara Martha Host in Milwaukee on Aug.
Allan C. Luniak
Allan C. “Bud” Luniak, 87, of Shawano, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020. Al was born Sept. 21, 1932, in Shawano, a son of the late Frank and Ida (Bucholz) Luniak. He graduated from Marion High School and University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in civil engineering. Following his graduation, Al served his country in the U.S. Navy. In his earlier years, Al enjoyed snowmobiling and fishing up north with friends.
Robert Thimke
Robert Charles Thimke, 97, of Shawano, passed away at 12:12 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, 2020, surrounded by his family and his companion, Shorts the cat. Bob was born Sept. 26, 1922, to the late William F. and Emma (Engel) Thimke in Shawano. Bob grew up with his brother, Harry, and his sister, Ruth, during the Depression, residing on Lafayette Street and having lots of adventures with his gregarious neighborhood friends.
Rickey Milanowski
Rickey Milanowski, 60, of Belle Plaine, passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020. Ricky was born Aug. 27, 1960, to the late Edward and Lillian (Wrochota) Milanowski in Milwaukee. Rickey was employed by Aarowcast from 2011 until present and also owned Ed and Lil’s Bar. He enjoyed building remote control cars. Rickey had natural mechanical abilities and was an electronics whiz.
