Robert J. Grignon

Robert (Bob) John Grignon, 74, of De Pere, died in the early morning of Oct. 14, 2020, in the loving arms of his wife. Bob was born on New Year’s Day 1946 to the late Jerome and Sunday (Tourtillott) Grignon in Shawano. He grew up on the Menominee Reservation in Neopit with his many siblings, family, and friends. In 1970, Bob married Mary Pat Kroner who proceeded him in death on June 20, 1995.
Wayne Moeller
Wayne L. Moeller, 78, of Navarino, passed away on Oct. 12, 2020, in Shawano. Wayne was born in Green Bay on April 28, 1942, son of the late Louis and Alice (Rudie) Moeller. After graduating from Bonduel High School in 1960, Wayne enlisted in the United States Army serving from 1960-1963 in the 101st airborne, completing 28 jumps, give or take a couple. On Aug. 15, 1964, Wayne married Joy Nitzske at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville.
Nora Young
Nora “Kay” Young, 79, of Greenville, formerly of Shawano, passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, at ThedaCare Appleton. Nora was born to the late Earl and Mary (Thompson) Sykes on Aug. 4, 1941, in New London. On Oct. 22, 1960, she was united in marriage to Nathan Young at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Stephensville. The couple remained in Stephensville until 1970, when they purchased the Hiawatha Lodge on Shawano Lake.
Bruce A. Lamers
Bruce A. Lamers, 57, of Shawano, passed away on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020. Valley Funeral Home of Appleton is serving the family.
Marion J. Beyer
Marion J. Beyer, 92, of Shawano, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020. Marion was born May 1, 1928, in Dale, a daughter of the late George and Lillian (Camfield) Lapp. She often told people she came over on the Mayflower. She attended and graduated from Washington High School in New London with the Class of 1946. On Sept. 24, 1955, Marion was united in marriage to Wallace L.
Paul A. Heger Jr.
Paul A. Heger Jr., 90, of Shawano, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca. Paul Alfred Heger was born Nov. 2, 1929, in the Town of Fairbanks, Shawano County, to Paul and Ruby (Frailing) Heger Sr. He graduated from Tigerton High School in 1943. Paul was united in marriage on June 20, 1953, to Lorraine A. Bucher at Peace Lutheran Church in Split Rock. In his early years, Paul worked on the family farm in Tigerton.
Orville J. Emon
Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Orville J. Emon passed away Sept. 28, 2020, at the age of 82 in Appleton. Orv was born in Wausau on Aug. 6, 1938, to John and Leona (Geiger) Emon. He developed a love for basketball early in life, becoming a basketball jock in high school. As a young man, Orv often enjoyed being at the local fishing hole rather than class (this proved useful in his later years).
