Robert Alan Chicks, 65, of Harbor Springs, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020. Bob was born Aug. 1, 1954, in Shawano to Sarah Wanda (nee Miller) and Clarence Alfred Chicks. His grandparents were Aubyn and Tressie Miller and Alice (nee Davids) and Harry Chicks. Bob was an enrolled member of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians.

John A. Torborg, 69, of the town of Belle Plaine, Shawano County, passed away at his home Monday morning, Jan. 27, 2020, after a courageous 3½-year fight with cancer. John was born Nov. 24, 1950, in Clintonville as the son of the late Albert and Betty (Zellmer) Torborg. Anna D. Magnin, the unwavering spirit and foundation of our family, passed away Jan. 21, 2020, after a long and great life. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where a visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until service time. Walter L. Rosin
Dr. Walter L. Rosin, 91, of Shawano, died peacefully at home Friday morning, Jan. 24, 2020. Walter was born Dec. 18, 1928, in Boyd, Minnesota, to Louis and Lillie (Welkener) Rosin. He received his junior college education at Concordia College, St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating in 1948. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri, with a Master of Divinity in 1953.

A beautiful soul has entered heaven. Carol J. Roloff, 70, of Waupaca, formerly of Shawano, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. She was born to Ralph and Gertrude (Cassens) Kroening on July 5, 1949, in Shawano. On Jan. 18, 1969, Carol was united in marriage to Kent L. Roloff.

John A. Moede
John A. Moede, 76, of Shawano, passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. John was born Nov. 3, 1943, in Shawano, a son of the late Arlow and Isabell (Bartz) Moede. He was raised on the family farm in the town of Richmond near Thornton, where he attended rural grade school at Stony Hill.
