James A. “Jim” Redmond

James A. “Jim” Redmond, 94, of Gresham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019 in Shawano. Jim, the son of the late John and Ella (Gable) Redmond, was born on Jan. 16, 1925, in Arpin. On June 16, 1956, he was united in marriage to his beloved Anna Neumeier in Gresham. Jim received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture at University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 1946.

Anna K. Smith, 80, of Wittenberg, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019.   A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at Schmidt and Schulta Funeral Home in Birnamwood.

Cory K. Guyette, 25, of Clintonville, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019 in the township of Lebanon from injuries sustained in a motor-vehicle crash. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory in Clintonville is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Donald L. Schmeisser
Donald L. Schmeisser, 73, Abrams, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019. Born on May 31, 1946, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Harold and Rose (Strandt) Schmeisser. Don is a graduate of Neenah/Menasha High School. He was a retired member of Local 400, and also worked as a steamfitter for many years. Don was proud of the work he did, and enjoyed the friendships he made through the course of his career.
Martin J. Smits
Martin J. Smits, 93, Gillett, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019. He was born in Cooks, Michigan, on May 5, 1926, a son of the late Martin H. and Rose (Boehm) Smits. Martin was a graduate of Suring High School and went on to serve honorably in the U.S. Army. He married Alice Mae (Jeske) on Nov. 24, 1956, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Suring and together they raised three children. Martin farmed for much of his life in Gillett.

Brooklynn Daisy Mae Wedde, was born into eternal life Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019. Brooklynn is survived by her parents, Brad and Karrie Wedde; and siblings, Konner, Benson and her twin, Ava.
