Teen charged in crash that killed 3 passengers
A teenage driver involved in a crash that killed three young passengers last fall in Shawano County is facing criminal charges. Prosecutors say 18-year-old Ryan Swadner, of Clintonville, was under the influence of a controlled substance when he lost control of his vehicle in Belle Plaine and collided with an SUV in October 2014.

Lois Ann Barry
Lois Ann Barry, 81, of Shawano, died on Friday, April 10, 2015. Born on July 17, 1933, in Madison, Lois was the daughter of the late Tester and Lillian (Gilbertson) Bakken. Lois was united in marriage to Glen A. “Jack” Barry on June 23, 1955, in Madison. The couple moved to Shawano in 1962. Lois enjoyed golfing, bowling, downhill skiing, gardening and playing bridge with friends. As a member of the St.

Ruth Emily Braun
Ruth Emily Braun, 94, formerly of Clintonville, passed away on April 10, 2015, at Birch Hill Care Center in Shawano. Ruth was born on Jan. 28, 1921 in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Emil and Adelia (Golz) Gauger. She attended the Jefferson School in Oshkosh. She then left school to care for an aunt who was ill. She then worked at the Neuberger Company in Oshkosh for 11 years.
