Pulaski’s Jonah Drevs took Sheboygan North’s Reegan Cantrall into extra games to pull out a 6-2, 7-6 (5) win at No. 3 singles, the only one for the Red Raiders in a 6-1 loss.

At No. 4 singles, Pulaski’s Aaron Trijueque Ruiz lost a close contest to Joshua Nelson, who prevailed 6-3, 7-6 (2).

Pulaski’s boys fell to 0-8 in the Bay Valley Conference after an 18-3 loss at Appleton East High School.

Appleton United improved to 3-0-1 in the Bay Valley Conference and Pulaski dropped to 0-5 following a Red Raiders’ 14-1 loss.

Pulaski’s Howard golfs best score at county invite

Brown County Invitational

Pulaski senior Brady Howard scored a 76 and was the medalist among players from nine teams at Wander Springs Golf Course in Greenleaf.

Overall, the Red Raiders had a 337 and tied for third place with Denmark.

Also scoring for Pulaski were Bradin Schultz with 86, Ethan Berger with 87 and Casey Madlem with 88.

All Tigerton girls get a hit in come-from-behind win

Tigerton scored four runs in the fifth inning to tie Northland Lutheran 7-7 before adding one run in each of the sixth and seventh innings to win 9-7.

Each of the nine Tigers’ players had a hit in the game — Danika Tiller, Emily Rich, Hailey Erdmann, Renata Nordwig, Lillian Welch, Jaelyn Brady, Aaliyah Lederhaus, Myah Dent and Mya Smith.

Oconto Falls 4, Clintonville 2

Oconto Falls won both ends of a doubleheader baseball contest against Clintonville by scores of 10-0 and 4-2.

In the opener, Landon Delfosse hit 1-for-2 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI. Carter Heroux was 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Shawano boys win Bay Conference Triangular

Bay Conference Triangular

Shawano’s boys track and field team won first place with 120.5 points and the girls placed third with 51 at Seymour.

The boys captured several gold medals including Bryce Lammers in the 100-meter dash in 11.74 and the 200-meter dash in 23.92.

Penass wins medalist honors at CWC meet

CWC Mini-Meet #1

Menominee Nation/Gresham’s Elliott Penass scored an 80 to tie for medalist honors at Foxfire Golf Course in Waupaca.

Teammate Gabe Boivin had an 84, tied for third best.

All told, Menominee Nation/Gresham placed second with 357. They were followed by Marion in fifth with 384, Wittenberg-Birnamwood in sixth with 406 and Bonduel in 11th with 510.
