Signed and sealed: Can they deliver?

The Green Bay Packers are running it back. After collapsing in the Wild Card round a season ago against the Chicago Bears, team President Ed Policy decided to extend the contracts of head coach Matt LaFleur and general manager Brian Gutekunst.

Now, the pressure is on to win and prove Policy right.

New, returning players raise more questions than answers

Can draft picks make their way into starting rotation?

The Green Bay Packers’ draft class is in the books with their big three picks being used on a cornerback, defensive tackle and pass rusher.

The draft is being used currently to offset some of the losses the Packers suffered this offseason. They had Romeo Doubs, Jordan Morgan, Quay Walker and Kingsley Enagbare among others leave in free agency.

Packers use first three picks for defense

The NFL draft is in the books, and the Green Bay Packers will now set their sights to getting their rookies acclimated while trying to get healthy for a chance to chase their 14th world championship.

Their draft class this year was different than any in the recent past, because they did not have a first-round pick — thanks to the trade for defensive end Micah Parsons.

Golden progressing in Packers system

Much is always expected from a team’s first-round draft pick. Such was the case in 2025 when the Green Bay Packers selected Matthew Golden in the 23rd overall spot.

But, has he materialized into what the fans — or the coaching staff — expected?
