Oconto Falls continued its strong start to the season, going 5-0 and winning the Shawano Invite for the second consecutive year. The Panthers did not drop a single set throughout the tournament.
Oconto Falls opened the morning pool play with wins over Brillion, 25-11, 25-10; Peshtigo, 25-18, 25-20; and Manitowoc Lutheran, 25-23, 26-24.
The Panthers continued their strong play in the semifinals, defeating Shawano 25-20, 25-15. Oconto Falls then capped off the tournament with a 25-15, 25-17 victory over Oconto in the championship match.
Izzy Otto led the Panthers’ offense with 80 assists while adding 25 digs, 9 kills and 5 aces.
Lucy Ripley had a standout tournament, recording 36 kills, 14 digs and 11 aces. Calli Bursa added 28 kills, 14 digs and 6 aces.
Brylee Gorman added 17 kills and 4 blocks, while Rhiana Van De Yacht contributed 14 kills and 17 digs. Ella Jahnke finished with 11 kills, and Karington added 23 digs.
The Panthers are now 12-4.

The Truckers won 25-19, 23-25, 15-9.
Shawano 2, Oconto 1
The host Hawks pulled out the tiebreaker game for a 2-1 win over Oconto. Game scores were 25-23, 20-25, 16-14.
Oconto 2, Pulaski 0
Oconto shut down Pulaski with scores of 25-14 and 25-19.
Gresham 2, Bowler 0
Gresham won a home contest against Bowler with scores of 25-10 and 25-11. The Wildcats are 8-4, and the Panthers are 0-7.
Gresham 2, Port Edwards 0
The Wildcats beat the Blackhawks 25-21 and 26-24.
Gresham 2, Faith Christian Academy 0
Gresham had little trouble bearing Faith Christian Academy 25-6 and 25-13.
Port Edwards 2, Bowler 0
Port Edwards won with game scores of 25-17 and 25-6.
Stratford 2, Suring 0
The host Eagles lost by scores of 25-15 and 25-18.
Suring 2, Assumption 0
Suring beat Assumption 25-20, 25-18.
Columbus Catholic 2, Suring 0
Columbus Catholic topped the Eagles 25-20 and 25-11.
Marion 2, Providence Academy 0
Marion easily beat Providence Academy 25-7 in the first game but had a tougher go of it in the 25-20 win in the second contest.
