Robert James ‘Bobby’ Bayer

Robert James “Bobby” Bayer, 51, of Marinesco, Michigan, formerly of Shawano, passed away at his home Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Deacon James Lonick officiating. Milton Mehlberg
Milton “Luke” Mehlberg, 99, of Caroline, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020. Milton George Mehlberg was the eldest of five sons. He was born March 23, 1920, to Harry and Martha (Dalum) Mehlberg. Luke grew up on a farm in Caroline, graduated from Marion High School in 1939 and continued working on the family farm until he was drafted in 1943. He served in the 369th Army Air Force Squadron in England as a radar mechanic for two years.
Frederick ‘Fred’ James True
Frederick “Fred” James True, 62, of Shawano, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020. Fred was born on March 7, 1957 in Hillsdale, Michigan, to the late John H. and Frances C. (McGann) True. Upon graduation he went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy. On May 1, 2004, Fred was united in marriage to Terri Seidl in Shawano.
Harlan Anton Fedders
Harlan Anton Fedders, 84, of Legend Lake, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020 in Shawano. Harlan was born on April 6, 1935, in Racine, to the late Anton and Ethel (Ankersen) Fedders. He loved baseball and during his youth Harlan played both pitcher and first base for the Racine American Legion and the Racine Redbirds. On June 23, 1956, he was united in marriage to Jacqueline von Gonten in Racine.

Jonathan Gavin Hanchett, 69, of Shawano, passed away surrounded by family from complications due to heart surgery on Sunday, Jan.
Lorraine A. Turman
Lorraine A. Turman, 93, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at Heritage Senior Living in Middleton. Lorraine was born to the late Frank and Susie (Ainsworth) Opperman on July 20, 1926, in Shawano. Her early years were spent living on the farm with her brothers and sisters. In 1939, she moved to town to live and work for the family who owned the Shawano newspaper. Lorraine moved to Two Rivers in 1942 to live with two of her sisters.
William J. Rebholz
William John Rebholz, 72, of Griffin, passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 at Select Medical Midtown Hospital. Mr. Rebholz was born in Big Bend on Sept. 19, 1947. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Florence Rebholz; sisters Norma Jean Stemper, Janice Waltz, Rosemary Juranitch and Karen Hokanstad. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War and a member of the West Sunny Side Community Church. Mr.
