Jerome “Jerry” Moede passed away Aug. 15, 2026, at the age of 78.

Jerry was born in May 1948 to Bernhard and Rosella Moede, of Appleton, and was a 1968 graduate of Appleton West High School. Over the years, Jerry continued his education, receiving a bachelor of science in secondary education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1973 and a master of science in special education from Winona State University in 1983.

William Martin “Bill” Zietlow passed away peacefully Sept. 1, 2026.

He was born Nov. 18, 1939, in Rhinelander. Bill graduated from Rhinelander Union High School in 1958 and St. Mary’s Hospital Radiologic Technician Program in 1960. He moved to Oconto Falls in 1961 where he began a 41-year career at Community Memorial Hospital.

Karen K. Visocky went to the Lord on Aug. 19, 2026.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; son, Sean (Nancy); brother, Douglas (Mary); and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Sept. 5 at Gillett Baptist Church.

Teresa A. Brown, 97, Stiles, died early Monday morning, Sept. 7, 2026, at Rennes West Nursing Home.

She was born March 10, 1929, to the late Bert and Angeline Dumas in Schaffer, Michigan. She graduated from Lena High School in 1946.

Cecelia Ann Trossen, 94, passed away peacefully Sept. 5, 2026.

Cecelia was born Jan. 12, 1932, to the late Herman and Martha Leonard. She grew up in Sheboygan and later made her home in Suring before eventually settling in Mountain.

Cecelia married Robert Trossen on Jan. 13, 1949, and together they built a life centered around family, hard work and many cherished memories.
