What happened to the class of 2022?

The NFL draft is come and gone, and the Green Bay Packers are hoping for a class that can help push them over the top of the NFC and into the Super Bowl. While they are looking for help from their rookies, usually a draft class takes a few years to fully develop, and it is previous draft classes that need to have players develop into stars.

Dairyland, BABA getting ready for another season of baseball

The boys of summer will soon be back on the baseball diamond, but fans will notice a few changes from last year in the Dairyland League and Badger Amateur Baseball Association.

Ten Dairyland teams are scheduled to open league play May 3 with five games set for 1:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the BABA will open division play May 10 with games scheduled in four divisions.

Runners with everything from strollers and dogs bolt into the woods April 25 at the Navarino Nature Center for its annual run/walk with walkers casually striding in the background.

 

Chargers crush Eagles on baseball diamond

Saturday, April 25

Slinger 8, Pulaski 4

Braun Wotruba hit 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Pulaski’s 8-4 loss to Slinger.

Gavin Sikorski hit 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Eli Heuser had a pair of RBIs.

Gavin Luebke took the loss for the Red Raiders.

Red Raiders softball team goes 1-1 at Kenosha Quad

Pulaski 11 Waterford 2

Pulaski batters pounded out 14 hits included three doubles in an 11-2 win over Waterford at the Kenosha Quad.

Ella Maroszek, Kennedy Nowak and Eiley Pierquet each had three hits. Maroszek had three RBIs, and Nowak had two.

Nowak connected for two doubles, and Molly Molthen had one.

Pulaski tennis team is 2-3 in De Pere

Saturday, April 25

Pulaski’s tennis team went 2-3 at a two-day tournament in De Pere.

Greenfield 5, Pulaski 2

Jonah Drevs and William Gosse won their singles matches for Pulaski when they took on Greenfield.

Drevs, at No. 2, beat Steven Rehak 6-2, 6-2. Gosse, at No. 4, defeated Easton Schaefer-Rose 3-6, 6-0, 10-5.

Oriol Capella Rodon and Lucas Ford lost their singles matches.

Nischke scores twice in lacrosse loss

Saturday, April 25

DeForest 10, Pulaski 6 (girls)

Ashley Nischke scored twice and four teammates each had a goal in Pulaski’s 10-6 loss to DeForest.

Also scoring were Lillian Zaidel, Olivia Larock, Riley Hartman and Lexi Baraczyk.

Erin Mittag had the team’s only assist.

Marley Sheehan had 10 saves.
