A 44-year-old Green Bay woman reported missing Saturday was found dead Sunday in a wooded area near a residence on County Road HH in the town of Washington where she was staying, the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department said. Celeste Blanchette was reported missing Saturday afternoon and found about 24 hours later by sheriff’s deputies. The Sheriff’s Department said the death is not considered suspicious and there were no signs of foul play.

Warren A. “Jim” Born, 89, of Bonduel, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, in Shawano. Born on Sept. 14, 1924, in Green Bay, he was the son of the late Art Manthei and the late Violet Born. Jim was united in marriage to Margaret Kranning on Feb. 19, 1949. They made their home in the town of Washington for nine years and then moved to their farm in the town of Hartland in 1960, where he resided for the rest of his life.
