Jacqueline “Jackie” Patzer, 82, of Tigerton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at Appleton Medical Center. The former Jacqueline Mae Ruprecht was born on Aug. 11, 1931, in Rosholt to Carl and Evelyn (Haroldson) Ruprecht. She was raised on a small farm in a log cabin in Galloway. Jackie graduated from Rosholt High School in 1949. She was united in marriage on Nov. 4, 1950, to John C. Hoffman in Rosholt.

Martin R. Themer, Township of Lessor, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. Martin was born on Jan. 20, 1928, to the late Hattie (Gehm) and Ewald Themer. Martin graduated with the Class of 1945 from Bonduel High School. He married the former Mary E. Lasecki on Sept. 4, 1954, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Hofa Park.

A rural Shawano man has been charged with the sexual assault of two children, including the repeated assault of an autistic 8-year-old girl. Douglas S. Reynolds, 51, faces felony counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 12 and first-degree sexual contact with a child under the age of 13. If convicted, Reynolds could face a maximum 60 years in prison on each count.
