To the editor: I’m writing in regards to the proposed casino in Kenosha. I strongly believe that Gov. Walker should give the Menominee tribe the OK to build a casino at the Dairyland Greyhound Park site. A casino in Kenosha would give people who live in Racine County and neighboring counties the opportunity to enjoy gambling a lot closer to home.

Gresham Community School was not afraid to show its pink side Friday as a weeklong observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month wrapped up. Most of the students and many staff members were decked out in pink, the color showing support for those who are battling or have survived breast cancer.
