Alyssa A. Chapek

Alyssa A. Chapek, 24, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident with her boyfriend, David Lewis. Alyssa was born May 16, 1996, to Anne (Hoffmann) Abbott and David Simmons in Milwaukee. She was raised in Racine for most of her adolescent years. Alyssa’s family relocated to the Shawano area in late 2008. She made a lot of friends and lived her life to the fullest.
Rogean L. Ehlert
Rogean L. Ehlert, 93, of Shawano, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2020. Rogean was born Jan. 27, 1927, to the late Gustav and Adelia (Schultz) Berndt in Embarrass. On May 20, 1950, Rogean was united in marriage to Lloyd George Ehlert; they made their home together in Shawano. Lloyd preceded Rogean in death on July 21, 2009. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Shawano. Rogean enjoyed outdoor activities by gardening and camping.

Carol J. Jones, 80, of the Town of Wescott, Shawano County, passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 10, 2020, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory in Clintonville is assisting her family.
Kenneth H. Lodewegen
Kenneth H. Lodewegen, 77, of Marion, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday evening, Nov. 10, 2020. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory in Marion is assisting the family.
Lucille M. Daniel
Lucille M. (Tyler) Daniel, 93, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, at Evergreen Healthcare Center in Shawano. Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be held for Lucille at a later date.
Paul Neja Jr.
Paul Albert Neja Jr., 87, of Galion, Ohio, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, at the Avita Health Systems Galion Hospital. Paul was born in Marinette on Jan. 7, 1933, to Paul Albert Neja Sr. and Margaret (Schneider) Neja. He married Monica Ann (Kopish) Neja on July 18, 1959, and she survives him. Paul was a psychotherapist and founding administrator for the Mental Health Centers of Shawano/Waupaca Counties in Wisconsin.
Vincent L. Zehren
Vincent Leo Zehren, 96, a world-renowned cheesemaker and dairy scientist, died of natural causes on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at his home in Green Bay, where he lived for 66 years. He was born Nov. 19, 1923, in the living quarters of the family’s Belle Plaine and Richmond Cheese and Butter Association factory located between Shawano and Pella to his parents Leo and Agnes (Loughrin) Zehren.
