• Steven M. Ducat, 39, Oconto, pleaded guilty Aug. 17 to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fifth offense) and a misdemeanor charge of operating while revoked. Judge Hannah Schuchart sentenced him to four years in prison followed by four years of extended supervision with conditions including license revocation for two years and three years requiring ignition interlock devices on his vehicles.

• James P. Linz, 45, Oconto, had his probation revoked May 13 from a 2025 conviction for misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and possession of THC. Judge Jay Conley sentenced him Aug. 21 to 90 days in county jail, time deemed served.

• Devin David Lakonen-Smet, 25, Suring, was charged Aug. 17 with possession of methamphetamine, five counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of intentionally abusing a hazardous substance and resisting or obstructing an officer. Schuchart set a $20,000 cash bond and adjourned his initial appearance until Nov. 19.
