Buckled motorists get $10 Christmas present Monday
Some motorists who visited Walmart on Monday for a little last-minute Christmas shopping ended up with a Christmas gift of their own. Foreclosures granted against SIST subsidiary
A Circuit Court judge last week granted the foreclosure of the Family Dollar property on East Green Bay Street, which was being purchased through a land contract by a subsidiary of the Samanta Roy Institute of Science and Technology. In a separate civil suit, the court also granted foreclosure of nine residential lots and an outlot in the town of Wescott that were also being purchased on a land contract by the same subsidiary, Midwest Properties
Dickie L. Weber
Dickie L. Weber, 79, Lena, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013. He was born Jan. 29, 1934, in Shawano to the late Edward and Goldie (Schreiber) Weber. Dickie proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On June 20, 1959, he married the love of his life, Carol Gomber.

Audrey Campbell Buchinger
Audrey A. Campbell Buchinger, 76, of Clintonville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, in New London. Born on June 9, 1937, in Washington, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Calvert) Jones. On June 16, 1956, she was united in marriage to Ronald Campbell in Salem, Ill. He preceded her in death in 2003.
Terri Lynn Felts
Terri Lynn Felts, 66, of the town of Herman, Shawano, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, Dec. 20, 2013, at the Shawano Medical Center. Terri was born July 2, 1947, in Shawano, a daughter of the late Robert and Doris (Pahlow) Shively. Terri Lynn attended the Shawano schools, graduating from Shawano High School in 1965. Following school, she was employed at the Zwicker Knitting Mill-Eagle Knit Company for over 20 years.
Richard C. Breed
Richard “Dick” C. Breed, 78, of Embarrass, passed away Monday evening, Dec. 23, 2013, at his home. Dick was born in Embarrass on Dec. 1, 1935, the son of Fred and Myrtle (Hanson) Breed. On April 17, 1953, Dick enlisted in the U.S. Navy. His sea duty included serving aboard the USS Des Moines CA-134, a heavy cruiser.
