A 59-year-old Clintonville man was arrested Tuesday morning after a high-speed chase in a stolen SUV. Clintonville police received a call about 9:30 a.m. of a vehicle stolen from Steinke Auto on West Street in the city. The vehicle was later spotted by Marion police who tried pulling it over. Authorities made 32 criminal arrests and issued numerous citations over the course of two recent high-profile traffic enforcement operations in Shawano. The Shawano School Board put the brakes Monday night on a committee recommendation to delay the start of school by 30 minutes for the 2015-16 school year.
