Shawano County nonprofits receive $449K in grants
Eleven Shawano County nonprofit organizations recently received grants totaling $449,000 to serve the needs of area residents. Suring woman dies from traffic injuries
A Kelly Lake woman has died of injuries sustained in a one-vehicle crash Sept. 16 at the Brown-Oconto county line. Kathleen A. Ryan, 81, was driving south on U.S. Highway 41-141 at about 9:19 a.m. when her car began to swerve across lanes, entering the median at least twice before striking the cable barrier and spinning, according to an Oconto County Sheriff’s Department traffic report.
Pulaski boys, girls take third at Rosholt Invite
Sept. 28 Trebs Invite Pulaski’s girls placed third and Bonduel was 11th among 18 teams at Rosholt. Leading the Red Raiders was Emerson Fabry, who placed third in 19:02.67.
