Lillian V. Leja, 91, Abrams, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Rebekah Haven in Green Bay, surrounded by family. Lillian, the daughter of John and Mary (Sepiol) Dworniczak, was born Nov. 23, 1922, in Poznań, Poland. She spent her first birthday crossing the Atlantic Ocean with her family as they came to America. They settled in Chicago, where Lillian lived until she was 16 years old.

Dorothy M. Bubb, 90, Oconto Falls, died Saturday evening, Jan. 4, 2014, at the Woodlands of Gillett. She was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Oconto Falls to Albert and Hattie (Sell) Montie and grew up in the area. On Dec. 14, 1940, she married Jerome Bubb in Marinette. Dorothy lived for most of her life in rural Oconto Falls where she enjoyed tending her large flower and vegetable gardens.

Steve J. Yatso, 90, of Boulder City, Nev., formerly of Wisconsin, died Sunday afternoon, Jan. 5, 2014, at the home of his niece near Black Creek. He was born Feb. 1, 1923, in Exeter, Penn., to Steven Sr. and Mary (Mikeska) Yatso.
