• Kaz R. Howard, 23, Aniwa, pleaded no contest Aug. 19 to first-degree sexual assault of a child under age 13. Judge Michael Judge sentenced him Oct. 17 to 12 years in prison followed by eight years of extended supervision with conditions.
Deputies responded to 30 incidents, including a disturbance on East Front Street in Wittenberg; drugs near North Main and East Green Bay streets in Shawano; trespassing on Ash Circle in the Town of Wescott; one 911 call; four reckless driving incidents; two traffic hazards; one welfare check; one crash.
