Bonduel leads local teams at Wittenberg-Birnamwood Invite

Bonduel’s boys and girls topped local teams competing in Wittenberg.

For the boys, Bonduel’s foursome of Garrett Anderson, Gage Anderson, Oliver Chitwood and Joah Dworniczak won the 4x800-meter relay in 9:20.78.

Another Bears foursome of Carter Moesch, Gage Scholl, Griffin Uelmen and Mason Ballwahn won the 4x400 in 3:38.44.

Moesch also took first place in the long jump at 20 feet, 11.25 inches.

Ryan Westrich won the discus at 140-8 and the shot put at 44-1.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Aydrean McGeshick won the 400-meter dash in 53.82.

Marion-Tigerton’s Tristan Herro won gold in the high jump at 6-1.

For the girls, Bonduel’s Lillian Burdock claimed the title in the 1,600-meter run in 6:04.57.

Winning the 4x200 for the Bears were Paige Niquette, Amelia Wilcox, Peyton Westrich and Josie Pawlak in 1:52.51.

The 3,200-meter run was captured by Brooklyn Ahlers, of Marion-Tigerton, in 15:23.07.

Winning the high jump was Menominee Nation’s Urijah Reevis at 4-10.
