Ronald Lee “Ron” Temple, 80, of Shawano, formerly of Pulcifer, passed away Oct. 1, 2025, peacefully in his sleep.
Ronald was born Aug. 21, 1945, in Green Bay, a son of the late Ray and Ruth (Nass) Temple. He graduated from Gillett High School with the class of 1963 and proudly served in the U.S. Army until 1966.
On Sept. 21, 1968, Ronald was united in marriage to the former Patricia Dumas in Lena.
A lifelong truck driver, Ron worked hard to provide for his family. After retiring in 2011, he and Pat enjoyed traveling until recently when his health no longer allowed him to. He will be remembered for his humor, kindness, strong faith and love of the Packers, Brewers and his family.
Ron is survived by his wife, Pat; daughters, Staci (Glenn Noack) Temple, Pam (Jon) Egge, Tricia (Duane) Kohls and Angela (Paul Riegert) Francois; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren with three on the way; and sisters, Shirley Rank and Yvonne (Fred) Christensen.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Melissa; siblings; and other loved ones.
A memorial service for Ronald L. Temple will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Faith United Lutheran Church in Gillett. Pastor John Laatsch will officiate. Burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery, Pulcifer.
Visitation will begin at the church on Saturday at 9 a.m. and continue until the time of service.
