Rogatzki makes run for OF School Board

A former Oconto Falls High School teacher and football coach is a candidate for the Oconto Falls School Board. Duane Rogatzki, of Oconto Falls, is among four individuals vying for two seats on the board. Other candidates are Stephanie Wijas, of Little Suamico, and incumbents Jan Stranz, of Abrams, and James Spang, of Oconto Falls. The election takes place April 1. Suring Voters in the Suring School District will have one contested race on their ballot. Incumbent Eugene School Jr. and Erika Schindel filed for the seat representing the towns of Bagley, Maple Valley and Spruce. Two other incumbents are running unopposed: Cathleen Lundgren for the towns of Doty, Mountain and Riverview seat, and Mark Strehlow for the town of How seat. Gillett A primary election Feb. 18 will eliminate one of five candidates running for two seats on the Gillett School Board. Candidates are Paul Herzog, Jamie Heroux, Brandon Nygaard and incumbents Nanette Mohr and John Timm. Oconto Candidates for the rural seat are incumbent Diane Nichols and Linda Green. Candidates for the city seat are Jennifer Thiele and Ryan Herald. Incumbent Mark Orth, city seat, is not running for office. Coleman Three candidates have filed for two positions on the Coleman School Board: Barbara Krause-Klug and incumbents Joanne Nowak and Roger Heisel. Pulaski Two incumbents for the Pulaski School Board declined to run again: Pam Denzer, Zone 4, and Chris Vandenhouten, Zone 6. Michael Voelker filed for Zone 4, representing the towns of Maple Grove and Lessor. Mark LeMere filed for Zone 6, village of Hobart and township of Oneida.
