Shawano girls fall to Denmark The Shawano Community High School girls basketball team lost to Denmark 43-36 in a Bay Conference game Friday in Shawano. Chargers top Waupaca at home The Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School girls basketball team beat Waupaca 46-33 in a nonconference game Friday in Wittenberg. Mikayla Hartman led Wittenberg-Birnamwood (7-1, 3-0 Central Wisconsin Conference-8) with 16 points. Macie Davidson and Joseee Waitrovich had eight points each to lead Waupaca (2-5, 2-2 Eastern Valley Conference). Bowler tops Northland Lutheran A 3-pointer by Lakeisha Williams inside of two minutes helped secure the Bowler High School girls basketball team’s first win of the season, a 38-35 victory over Northland Lutheran in a nonconference game Friday in Bowler. Ashlynn Brisk led Bowler (1-4, 0-3 Central Wisconsin Conference-10) with 15 points, 12 rebounds and nine steals. Kenedie Malone added 12 points, 11 rebounds. Savannah Jeppeser had 15 points to lead Northland Lutheran (2-6, 0-3 Marawood-South). Truckers beat Foxes in conference play The Clintonville High School boys basketball team beat Fox Valley Lutheran 26-23 in a Eastern Valley Conference game Friday in Appleton. Turner Doornink scored 12 points to lead the Truckers (2-5, 2-4 Eastern Valley). Tyler Petermann added two points and 10 rebounds for Clintonville. Derek Ashman led Fox Valley Lutheran (2-9, 2-5 Eastern Valley) with nine points.
