Kim Fenske and Brenda Barrone are the newest members of the Shawano Optimist Club.
Longtime member Jim Leuenberger conducted the official installation at a recent club meeting.
In his remarks, he encouraged the new members to share their time and talents by serving on club committees and the board of directors and participating in club projects and fundraisers.
Fenske is a leadership coach and self-proclaimed chief empathy officer on a mission to help others discover their God-given purpose, grow in confidence and lead with integrity. Her journey spans from classrooms to corporate leadership teams, always centered on developing people and encouraging servant-hearted, people-focused leadership.
Fenske currently serves as leadership coach at Pieper Electric, guiding individuals and teams to build lasting leadership skills rooted in servant leadership principles.
Brenda Barrone is a retired property, casualty and bodily injury claims adjuster. She and her husband have lived in Shawano for five years, and she currently volunteers in the Shawano school system.
