John Leo Samp, 63, of Menasha, passed away on Christmas Eve surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on March 20, 1950, in Shawano, son of the late Leo and Angeline (Russell) Samp.
On March 29, 1969, John was united in marriage to Vickie Krutz. He was employed at Intertape Polymere (Central Products) since 1969.
John is lovingly survived by his wife, Vickie; two sons, John (Brenda) and Shad Samp; a daughter, Terry (Steve) Jacob; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; five grandpuppies; three brothers, Lee (Wendy), Ron (Carol) and Randy; a sister, Sandy; and many other family members and special friends who loved him dearly.
John was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Shane Todd; a nephew, Jimmy Bleck; and his mother and father-in-law, Helen and Al Krutz.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute, is assisting the family.
