Janet E. Sorenson, 66, Shawano, formerly of Green Bay, died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at her home. She was born Jan. 13, 1947, in Green Bay to Walter and Elizabeth Sorenson.
Janet had been employed at Oneida Golf and Riding Country Club, and more recently at K-Mart. She was an avid Packers fan and also a fan of all other Wisconsin sports teams.
Janet is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Mary Sorenson, Glen and Jean Sorenson, and Vern and Mary Sorenson, all of Green Bay; nieces and nephews, Paul (Nicole) Sorenson, Brian (Andrea) Sorenson, Scott Sorenson, Susan Sorenson, Steven (Jen) Sorenson, Dana (Jesse) Specht; an aunt, Rosella Sorenson; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4-5 p.m. Friday. The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Demuth officiating.
