Wade Grenke, 58, Oconto Falls, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024.
He was born May 15, 1966, to Arlin and Georgia (Konitzer) Grenke.
Wade grew up in Oconto Falls with his family, graduating from OFHS before obtaining his nursing assistant certificate from NWTC and pledging his service to our country for five years in the U.S. Navy.
After returning, Wade kept himself busy with hard work and his hobbies, of which included woodworking and motorcycling.
In the years preceding his death, Wade worked for McDermid Corporations/Trucking and through them, fulfilled a lifelong dream of traveling the country and sharing pictures with friends and family of the beautiful sights and landscapes he saw on the road.
Wade is fondly remembered for his unique sense of humor and his willingness to help others when they needed it most.
The family will gather to honor and celebrate his life at the West Side Beach pavilion in Oconto Falls on Sept. 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a military salute taking place at noon. A light picnic lunch will be served, and there is no need to bring additional dishes.
To everyone who has reached out and offered support and condolences to our family, we thank you. It’s moving to know that Wade touched so many lives in so many ways.
