Donna J. Bohardt, 74, of Gillett, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at her home. She was born April 22, 1948, in Green Bay to the late Elmer and Dorothy (Prenevost) Tank. Donna loved to read, crochet, watch comedies and listen to country western music. She adored the music and films of Elvis Presley. She loved spending time with her grandchildren as often as possible.
Joyce M. Fenn
Joyce M. Fenn, 89, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023. A former resident of Seymour and Shawano, she moved to Oakdale, California, in 2011 to be closer to her daughter. Born June 2, 1933, in Stephensville, to the late Clarence and Naureen (Komp) Liethen. Joyce grew up in Appleton, where she graduated from Appleton High School in 1951.
Ruth A. Mertz
Ruth Arlene Mertz, 94, went to be with Jesus in heaven on Friday, March 3, 2023, believing she was saved by the grace of God through faith in the perfect work of redemption done by Jesus on the cross. Ruth was born Feb. 1, 1929, in Shawano to the late Dewey and Lydia Krueger. She grew up on a farm with her parents and two brothers in the Bonduel area.

Shirley A. Reiter
Shirley A. Reiter, 84, died Wednesday, March 1, 2023, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Rennes Health and Rehab Center, Weston. She was born June 23, 1938, in Eland, daughter of the late Reinhardt and Eleanor (Kunst) Meverden. In 1975, she married Anton “Tony” Reiter and he preceded her in death in 1999. Shirley worked as a waitress at The Diner and also for K-Mart. She loved shopping, sewing, crafting and baking.

James R. Folkman
James R. Folkman, 76, Hobart, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2023. Born Nov. 21, 1946, to Elmer and Elma (Specht) Folkman, Jim graduated from Pulaski High School in 1965. Following high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in Vietnam until 1967. After his time in the Marines, he attended school in Rice Lake, and then returned home to work on the family farm in 1970, buying it in 1972. On Nov. 8, 1975, he married Kathryn Hovie.
