Jennifer Dowden pitched a 1-hitter, Miranda Schmidt had three hits, and the No. 2 Bonduel High School softball team shut out No. 3 Crivitz, 7-0, in the WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal Tuesday at Cedar Park in Bonduel. Farmers market vouchers available to seniors
Vouchers will be distributed in June for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, which offers eligible low-income seniors the opportunity to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs from certified farmers. Cynthia A. Lawe, 71, of Gillett, died on Thursday, May 22, 2014, in Green Bay. Born on Oct. 17, 1942, in Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Dorothea (Grimm) Conant. Cynthia’s creativity showed through her various art and crafts projects. She was very outgoing and was often referred to as a social butterfly.

Mary Ellen Magdalen Traeger, 78, of Gresham, passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 23, 2014, in Neenah surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 23, 1936, in Gresham, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Lucille Traeger. Mary Ellen was a member of the St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 21 years. She was a postmaster for Mountain and Keshena before retiring in 1992.

Ethel M. Schauske, 87, of Bowler passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014, at her home. Ethel was born on Dec. 7, 1926, to the late Joe and Mary (Hill) Coyhis. Ethel attended school in Morgan Siding and after graduating went on to work numerous jobs throughout the area. She eventually took a job as a book keeper in the health care field, a job which she did for over 30 years. Ethel was united in marriage to Henry J.
