HISTORY: The Packers and Eagles have a host of memorable games since they started locking horns in 1933.

Injuries piling at receiver positions

While losing to the Carolina Panthers was not in the cards for the Green Bay Packers, things got worse as the team lost both Tucker Kraft and Matthew Golden to injuries in the game.

Golden left the game after injuring his shoulder, while Kraft left after injuring his knee. The two players join Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks as injured pass catchers for the Packers.

Packers helped beat themselves against Panthers

With tight end Tucker Kraft knocked out of the game with a knee injury, the Packers sat and watched as Carolina Panthers kicker Ryan Fitzgerald connected on a game-winning, 49-yard field goal to win the game 16-13 and give Green Bay its second loss of the season Nov. 2 at Lambeau Field.

Green Bay entered this game as 13.5-point favorites, meaning this loss was the biggest upset, based upon point spread, in the NFL since 2023.

Green Bay offense, defense should be able to cage Panthers

Green Bay will host Carolina at noon Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Packers’ offense vs. Panthers’ defense

Jordan Love was good in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He would have been even better if the Packers’ receivers did not catch an all too familiar illness.

Green Bay’s pass catchers caught a case of the dropsies in Pittsburgh.

Keys to the Game: Packers can’t afford to look past Panthers

The Green Bay Packers are back at Lambeau Field and looking to continue their winning ways as the calendar turns to November.

This week, they welcome the Carolina Panthers, who are 4-4 on the season after they were handed a 40-9 drubbing at the hands of the Buffalo Bills.

The Packers will have an extra day of rest after this game with a Monday night showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles to follow.

Six-Pack: Carolina game leads to difficult stretch for Packers

The Green Bay Packers are back home for the first time in three weeks this week as they take on the Carolina Panthers.

These two teams have met 18 times in their history.

The most famous of which sent the Packers to Super Bowl XXXI.

These two teams won’t be playing for a trip to the Super Bowl, but the Panthers are a surprising 4-4 on the season.

McManus coy about rehabbing from leg injury

Brandon McManus was signed by the Green Bay Packers in October 2024, after the kicker had spent time on the rosters of the Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Commanders.

On March 4, McManus agreed to a three-year, $15.3 million contract with the Packers, including a $5 million signing bonus.
