It’s another Thanksgiving Day game for the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions. The game begins at noon at Ford Field.

Green Bay’s offense has been a tale of two situations this year.

At times, they look unstoppable.

Other times, they cannot get out of their own way.

The first time the Packers played the Lions, they displayed both of those qualities.

And we’re right back where we started.

Sort of.

The Green Bay Packers won the first game of the season against the Detroit Lions, with an emphatic 27-13 victory at Lambeau Field.

A lot has happened since then. The Packers and Lions have both visited third place in their division since the two teams met on opening day.

The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions will be the first of three nationally televised games Thanksgiving Day.

This one could be the biggest of the day and perhaps the biggest of the year for the Packers.

A win gives them a commanding lead over the Lions in terms of tiebreaker scenarios should they need that in the NFC playoff picture.
