Barbara Ellen (Jensen) Hudson was called home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2021, after a 17-year battle with esophagus cancer at the age of 59, with her loving family by her side.
Barb was born Aug. 22, 1961, in Marinette. On May 26, 1984, she married the love of her life, Glen Hudson. The couple celebrated 37 years of marriage and raised four children. She enjoyed spending time together as a family, taking many family trips over the years, where a lot of memories were made. Barb adored her children and all her grandchildren. She was always on the sidelines, supporting her children and grandchildren, during their sporting events. Barb could also be found gardening, shooting darts and being at the luau with family. Barb loved to spend her time doing many word searches and watching soap operas and scary movies. She enjoyed the many family pets they have had over the years.
She is survived by her husband Glen; children, Rebecca (Zak) Matzke, Rick (Michelle) Hudson, Robert (Jenny) Hudson, Ryan (special friend Melanie) Hudson; grandchildren, Kiela, Kaylee, Kruze (Rebecca), Parker, Jaxson (Rick), Colin, Kaden, Kloe, Camryn, Kolton, (Robert) Sydnie, Collin, Liam (Ryan’s special friend Melanie kids). Mother, Patricia (Kotecki) Jensen, and sister, Mary (Robb) Heller Delaney, Cody, Noah, Cousin and Friend Ellen Orlando, Patty Lawrenz, Julie Hartman, and Renee Schmidt. Aunts and Uncles: Don (Diane) Kotecki, Jim (Bunny) Kotecki, Orrie Kotecki, Florian (Judy) Kotecki, Jerry (special friend Delores) Kotecki. Sisters- and Brothers-in-law: Mary Jane (Burt) Dunst, Linda (Leroy) Wendt, Darlene (Gary) Uelmen, Gary (Joyce) Olson, Barb (Gary) Naparalla, Diane Steichen, Gary (Toni) Hudson, Roger (Lori) Hudson, Peggy Femling, Shelby (Jim) Bohman, Johnny (Sara) Hudson, Godson: Jeremy (Stephanie) Busch, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Private family funeral service and burial will be at St John’s Lutheran Church of Morgan.
Friends and family are invited to the Celebration of Life on July 18, 2021, at The Blue Spruce Bar and Hall, 8096 County Road A, Lena WI 54139 from 12:30 (Lunch) until 3 p.m.
