Herman Daniel “Flea” Peters, 57, of Shawano, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020. Herman was born Feb. 28, 1963, in Oconto Falls, to the late Orvis and Patricia Anne (Shivener) Peters. On Oct. 8, 1988, Herman was united in marriage to Carmella Waupoose at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit. He was the director of building and grounds for the Shawano and Menominee school districts.
Herman was an avid sportsman who loved the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers. He enjoyed spending time in the woods hunting, fishing and cutting wood. Herman was a very friendly and outgoing person who had many friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandson.
Herman is survived by Carmella Waupoose; his children, Carissa Peters and Kenzie Peters; grandson, Mikeseh; siblings, Richard (Katie) Peters, Janice Peters, Lynn (Don) Collins, Jody Peters, Doreen (Ken) Ebben, Karen Peters, George Peters, Joe Peters, John Peters and Patricia Peters; his dog, Nick; brother-in-law and close friend, Kenny Johnson; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Lisa Peters, Robert Johnson, Mary Beth Pecore, Ruth Waupoose, David (Jill) Waupoose Sr., Marlin (Jerilyn) Waupoose Sr. and Annmarie (Kenneth) Johnson. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike Peters; one sister in infancy, Alice; sister, Noreen Johnson; father- and mother-in-law, Gordon and Constance Waupoose; brothers-in-law, Wayne Pecore Jr. and Gordon “Sonny” Waupoose Jr.; and nephew, Talon Peters.
