Abrams Spotlight Productions Inc. will hold auditions Dec. 15-16 for its spring musical, “Legally Blonde,” to be presented Feb. 26 through March 1 and March 5-8, 2026.
This musical, directed by Preston Pelegrin, calls for male and female cast members, ages 15 and up.
“Legally Blonde” follows the fabulous Elle Woods as she trades in her pink heels for a briefcase in pursuit of love, only to discover her own strength, smarts and determination along the way. Bursting with high-energy songs and dance numbers, “Legally Blonde” celebrates confidence and staying true to yourself.
Individuals will have two opportunities to audition: 6-8:30 p.m. Dec. 15 or Dec. 16, at the Nancy Byng Community Theater, 5852 Maple St., Abrams. Individuals who audition should come prepared to sing one minute of a song from a musical. They are encouraged to sing along to a music track on their phone, instead of singing a cappella.
The auditions will also include a reading from the script and a group choreography number, so comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended. Dance experience is a plus.
If an in-person audition isn’t feasible, contact ASPI at 920-826-5852 or theater.aspi@gmail.com regarding an alternate time or a video audition.
To save time, individuals are encouraged to complete the online audition paperwork prior to auditions. A link can be found under the Events/Auditions tab at www.abramstheater.com. The auditions tab also includes rehearsal information and character descriptions.
“Legally Blonde” is presented through special arrangement with Music Theater International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
