Two days after coming up short in their own invitational baseball tournament, the Bonduel Broncos picked up a 7-3 Dairyland League win.
The Broncos hosted Hortonville on July 12 at Jack Reinke Field and handed the Stars a loss while improving to 10-1 in league play.

Hortonville opened the scoring with a run in the top of the first inning, but the Broncos answered with two runs in the bottom of the third and added another run in the sixth.
Hortonville tied the game at 3-3 in the seventh inning with a two-run home run.
The teams headed into the bottom of the ninth inning tied at 3-3. The Broncos loaded the bases on a leadoff double from Beckett Hartlaben, a walk to Chase Reinke and an intentional walk to Adam Frost. The Broncos were down to their last out after strikeouts to Wyatt Reinke and Easton Reinke, but Noah Weier delivered a walkoff grand slam that cleared the bases and gave the Broncos the win.
Jett Thielke got the start on the mound for the Broncos and gave up one unearned run on three hits while striking out 10 batters over five innings.
Reliever Jack Reinke gave up two runs on four hits over 3 1/3 innings. Bonduel’s third pitcher, Brooks Hartlaben, ended up getting the win after pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
