SAM25 launches endowment fund

SAM25 has established a new endowment fund through Edward Jones financial adviser Jon Aumann, creating what is hoped to be a lasting source of financial support for the organization’s mission and services.

The endowment is designed to help ensure Shawano Area Matthew 25 can continue serving the community for years to come, regardless of changing economic conditions. Annual distributions from the fund, approved by the SAM25 board of directors, may be used for capital improvements, program expansion, innovation and other mission-critical needs.

Unlike annual donations that support immediate needs, endowment contributions are invested to provide ongoing financial support for future generations.

Community members can contribute in several ways, including cash gifts, appreciated stocks or mutual funds, donor-advised fund grants, charitable trusts, bequests through a will or trust, and beneficiary designations on retirement accounts such as IRAs, 401(k)s and 403(b)s.

Those interested in learning more about the SAM25 Endowment Fund or making a contribution can contact SAM25 at 715-851-7252 or Aumann at Edward Jones at 715-524-3183.

SAM25 is a nonprofit organization serving the Shawano area by providing programs and resources that offer hope, support and assistance to individuals and families in need.
