Meshan Latender and Shawano County officials have verbally agreed to the former selling her home to pave the way for a new courthouse, jail pod and jail auxiliary services.

Latender owns the home at 211 W. Fourth St., Shawano.

We recently enjoyed a birding trip to the southeast United States that rewarded us with sightings of many bird species not seen in Wisconsin. Dick and Nikkie Kinziger-Francois with Ri Lee Kennels have announced that Bradley, whose formal name is GCH Ri Lee’s Give Me Diamonds, was the top pick of three judges to win the National Specialty and World Congress Dog Show in Tarrytown, New York, beating out more than 140 Tibetan Terriers. Bradley lives in North Carolina and is owned with handlers Tracy and Zack Doty.
