Larry A. Baker

Larry Arthur Baker, 86, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Larry was born Sept. 23, 1939, in Shawano to his parents, Hugo Baker and Viola Baker (nee Themer).

The recent case of Carmen Scholl’s lost wallet led to Conradt recalling a discovery of misplaced money 10 times the amount in the lost wallet.

Shawano-Menominee Court News

• Robert R. Umland, 33, Shawano, pleaded no contest April 21 to misdemeanor bail jumping. The charge was amended from a felony in a plea agreement. Judge Katherine Sloma levied fines and court costs of $705.

Oconto County Court News

• Jason J. Huncosky, 25, Suring, pleaded no contest April 20 to possession of methamphetamine. Judge Kent Hoffman withheld sentencing and placed him on two years of probation with conditions.
