Emmie Barke

Emmie Jean Barke, 97, of Gillett, died peacefully at home on May 30, 2025. She was born Jan. 27, 1928, to Alfred and Clara (Koll) Barke. She married Arnold Barke on April 22, 1955, in Thomasville, Georgia. Emmie worked in Green Bay for Dr. Gallagher as a receptionist for 30 years, and she also helped manage her husband’s cedar post and lumbar business.

Ronald W. Britzke, 72, of Clintonville, passed away May 27, 2025, at Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting the family.
Donna Szews
Donna Marie Szews, 92, of Birnamwood, died Monday, May 19, 2025, at her home. Donna was born Dec. 23, 1932, in the Town of Norrie, the eldest daughter of Norman and Marie (Schumacher) Henderson. Donna was united in marriage to Eugene Szews on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, 1953, at St. Florian’s Catholic Church, Hatley. Eugene had just returned home from Korea three weeks earlier. Donna graduated from Birnamwood High School in 1950.

Fabian Holewinski
Fabian Holewinski, 85, passed away peacefully May 13, 2025, at Aurora Baycare Medical Center in Green Bay, surrounded by his loving family. The son of Antone and Anna (Brusky) Holewinski was born in Maple Grove on Feb. 21, 1940. Fabian was a lifelong resident of Hofa Park, where he married the love of his life, Cynthia Dziubla, and they were happily married for 60 years.
Joan Delzer
Joan Ruth Delzer, 91, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was born Oct. 8, 1933, to Max and Augusta (Jahnke) Brendemehl in Green Bay. She graduated from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1952. Joan married George Delzer on Oct. 9, 1954, and together they ran a farm and homestead for the next 53 years in Town of Morgan. Joan and George raised two children, Phyllis and Paul.
