Steve “Skunk” Krause, 73, Oconto Falls, died Monday afternoon, June 30, 2025, at a Milwaukee area hospital following complications from heart surgery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2025, until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon Monday at the church.

Michelle (Missy) Marie Boehm, 68, of Maplewood, Minnesota, passed away June 16, 2025, at Regions Hospital, St. Paul, Minnesota. Michelle was a 1975 graduate of Shawano High School and earned her bachelor of science degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1979. A talented and skilled title abstractor, the majority of her career was with Land Title, Inc-Roseville, Minnesota.

Susan Rose (Weyenberg) Geneske, 70, of Suring, passed away peacefully June 17, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 6, 1955, and raised in Little Chute, Sue was the cherished daughter of Melvin and Lucille Weyenberg. Throughout her life — as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend — she was known for her contagious laughter, gentle spirit and unwavering presence.

Alger Schuettpelz, 86, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, with his wife, Althea, by his side. He was born in Suring, on Oct. 5, 1938, to Harold and Gertrude Schuettpelz, and grew up on the family farm. Alger (Al) was a devoted husband, father, grandpa and friend.

Jeanne Elizabeth Long (nee Craven) peacefully passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 15, 2025. Jeanne was the eldest daughter of Daniel and Marguerite Craven (nee Rassmussen). She was moved via foster care to the Suring area in Hickory, and lived with, and was nurtured by loving foster parents, Norman and Nomah Ankerson, from the age of 13 through graduation.
